This example changes Cash on Delivery (COD) to Pay at Delivery for every checkout.

Steps
- Go to Apps → Nex Reorder → Explore All Rules, then select Create Rule.
- Enter the name Rename COD to Pay at Delivery, choose Rename and Payment, then select Create Rule.
- Under Renaming Pairs, select Add renaming.
- In Original method, enter
Cash on Delivery (COD)— copied from your live checkout. - In New name, enter
Pay at Delivery.
- Leave Conditions empty so the new name shows on every checkout.
- Set Rule Status to Activated, check the Rule Preview, then select Save.
Shortcut: start from a template
The Rename Cash on Delivery template has the pair ready. Change the new name to your own wording.
Test it
Open checkout. The payment list should show Pay at Delivery where it used to say Cash on Delivery (COD).
Keep the name short
Long names wrap awkwardly on mobile checkout. A few words is enough.
If it does not work
The original method name must match checkout exactly — COD alone will not match Cash on Delivery (COD). See method name is not matching.
